This is sample 2 which I have just completed for Week 1 using a number of variations of herringbone stitch.

Love seeing your samplers Vicki. I relaly like the border stitch - is it stem stitch? It is much neaater than my attempts at stem stitch which are all different sizes!
Leanne - it's actually the dreaded Portuguese stem stitch - which I have since discovered that I was also doing wrong even though it looks quite neat. I have done it correctly on my current postcard for lesson 2 - will post it when it's finished.
I like how each set of stitches gets its own artistic setting.
